Patrick C. Sheldon is a founding member in the firm Fain Sheldon Anderson & VanDerhoef, PLLC.  Patrick was born at Ft. Lewis, Washington and is a third generation Western Washingtonian.  He has spent his entire life in the Northwest with the exception of opportunities to attend school at the University of California, Berkeley and Georgetown University in Washington, D. C.  While in Washington, D.C. Patrick also served the Hon. Warren G. Magnuson as a Legislative Assistant.

Patrick has a wide range of experience in civil litigation in all Washington trial and appellate courts. His practice areas include health care, principally medical malpractice defense and products liability, as well as experience in physician disciplinary issues before the Medical Quality Assurance Commission, hospital privileging matters and professional liability insurance appeals.  As a former member of the Washington State Bar Association’s Disciplinary Board, Patrick gained experience in the legal disciplinary process.  He routinely represents attorneys in legal disciplinary matters.

In 2004, Patrick was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates.  He is also a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, a group dedicated to discussion of legal ethics and disciplinary matters.

Patrick is married to his wife Jennifer and has two daughters, Madeline Clare and Larkin Jefferson.  He enjoys following baseball, fly-fishing, gardening, making as many appearances as possible at his children’s sporting events and reading.
