Christopher H. Anderson is a partner in the Seattle law firm of Fain Sheldon Anderson & VanDerhoef, PLLC. Mr. Anderson’s practice is focused in the areas of health care professional liability, including the representation of physicians, hospitals and other health care providers in medical malpractice litigation and in licensing and disciplinary disputes, and product liability litigation. Mr. Anderson was named by Seattle Magazine as one of the region’s top attorneys in 2005 in the field of medical malpractice defense.
Litigation Experience
Mr. Anderson’s litigation practice has included the following:
- Representation of physicians, hospitals and clinics, dentists and orthodontists, chiropractors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing homes and other health care providers in medical malpractice lawsuits.
- Representation of health care providers in licensing and disciplinary disputes before the Washington Quality Assurance Commission.
- Representation of physicians in hospital privileging disputes and in disputes with medical insurance companies over provider status.
- Representation of attorneys in legal malpractice lawsuits.
- Representation of corporations in product liability litigation, including claims related to construction machinery, bicycle components and helmets, pesticide and insecticide exposure, mobile home formaldehyde exposure, and other industrial products.
- Representation of manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of asbestos-containing products, including both insulation and brake products, in Washington and Alaska courts.
